I specialise in coaching, training and facilitating leaders and teams in the education, non-profit and business sectors to communicate well, build team cohesion and grow a healthy organisational culture.

You know that your people are your best resource, and that the impact of your organisation depends on your team thriving. Research shows that people give their best in a workplace where there is:

  • high support and psychological safety

  • high challenge to reach potential

  • positive communication

  • healthy conflict

  • ownership of the organisation’s values and mission

In these workplaces, no one dreads Monday morning.

If you want to create and sustain an organisational culture like this, I can offer the tools that your leaders and teams need to:

  • communicate effectively

  • build team trust, cohesion and resilience

  • have crucial feedback conversations

  • support each other’s ongoing growth and wellbeing

  • maximise commitment to your organisation’s values and mission

Take a look at what’s on offer to increase the health and impact of your organisation:

  • I can help your team to understand themselves and each other better, reducing the misunderstandings that can occur and providing a language for conversations about working behaviours.

C-me Colour Profiling is an easy to understand, quick to apply and cost-effective tool for improving your team’s communications. It will help your team:

    • understand each other’s preferred way of doing things

    • raise awareness of their own strengths and possible areas for development

    • appreciate each person’s strengths and the value they bring

    • learn how to improve performance according to their own work styles

After completing a short questionnaire, your team will engage in an interactive workshop which will give them a language to better understand themselves and each other so that they can communicate more effectively. They will gain valuable insights that can immediately be applied to:

    • optimize personal and team performance

    • maximise team cohesion, resilience and engagement

    • develop a committed culture

    • improve retention

    • inform recruitment and people strategy

    Clients share:

“It was so helpful to understand myself and my co-workers; the session provided a great opportunity to improve how we work. We now have a great framework on which to base future conversations around communication and working well as a team. Every team should do it, it has the potential to transform an organisation if taken seriously.” Emily, Operations Co-ordinator

Workshops are half or full day, tailored to your needs and take place in your workplace or online. I offer a reduced rate for schools and non-profits. Find out more or contact me to discuss what you want to achieve.

  • What would it be like to have a dedicated space where you can be supported to think through vision, strategy, organisational challenges, an upcoming project, personal growth areas, a difficult working relationship, next steps, work/life boundaries or how to get the best from your team?

As a leader, you set the tone and culture for your team. Your organisational culture will reflect something of who you are. If you want to see your team learning, thriving and achieving their goals, you need to model it.

In leadership coaching, you will set your own goals and I will partner with you to reach them.

    Clients share:

“It was transformational being coached by Liz. She asked me probably the most important question that I have been asked in a very long time. It transformed much of the way I have begun to think about myself. The journey is exciting and hard work, but I know that my personal life and career will be more fulfilling as a result. I will lead from a much healthier place, which in turn will impact many people in a lasting and positive way.” Catherine Clayton, Partnerships Engagement Lead, Kids Matter

“I was struggling with feeling as though I couldn’t do my job and that I didn’t have the personality to be a Team Leader. I was encouraged by the ‘C-me Colour Profile’ that Liz suggested I complete. It showed that my natural leadership qualities reduce under pressure but that they were there! I began to feel more confidence around being a Team Leader. The coaching helped to change the story that was going on in my head about my lack of ability to lead, to one that said I did have ability and I can do it.” AK, Team Leader

We usually start with a series of 6 sessions of 1 hour each. Coaching can take place at your workplace or elsewhere. Find out more or contact me to discuss what you want to achieve.

  • Coaching in the workplace is an empowering process where the client is supported to work towards identified goals and maximise their potential. A series of coaching sessions supports the client to gain fresh insights, overcome obstacles, (e.g. limiting mindsets, lack of clarity or confidence), improve their skills and take their next steps in their role or career.

    Clients share:

“Coaching with Liz provided me with very helpful insight. Liz has all the skills you’d hope for in a coach: she is friendly, professional, an excellent listener, asks the right question at the right moment and provides honest and actionable feedback in a constructive manner. I was very grateful for Liz’s patience in hearing me out and making sense of my complicated thoughts!” Matt Doherty, Graphic Designer

We usually start with a programme of 6 sessions, lasting one hour each. Where the sessions are sponsored by a line manager, there is a 3-way ‘check-in’ conversation early on, to explore goal alignment, and another 3-way at the end of the programme to review progress.

I offer a reduced rate for schools and non-profits. Find out more or contact me to discuss what you want to achieve.

  • Let’s be honest, we all love some positive affirmation. But feedback can be difficult when it’s not what we want to hear. We can feel unappreciated, defensive or even attacked. And giving that kind of feedback is never easy either.

In fact, any conversation where difficult things need to be said can be stressful. It’s important to get it right.

Imagine everyone in your organisation equipped to have these conversations in a helpful, positive way, resulting in deeper understanding, better team relations and improved performance. It’s possible!

This workshop equips leaders, managers and team members with tried and tested communication and mindset tools to ensure that, in any feedback conversation, both parties grow, and relationships are maintained and even deepened.

“Make feedback normal. Not a performance review.” Ed Batista

Workshops can be 1 – 2 hours and take place in your workplace or online. I offer a reduced rate for schools and non-profits. Contact me to discuss what you want to achieve.

  • I can equip your team with some basic coaching skills which will change the way they listen, speak and think at work. When people use a coaching approach to their everyday conversations, they listen better, work more collaboratively and become more self-reliant and accountable. All of which leads to improved relationships, a happier team and higher productivity.

A coaching approach goes beyond the conversational - it creates a thinking space in which your people can mine their best ideas and creativity – which can only be good for your organisation.

“Organisations that embrace a coaching environment can help promote emotional intelligence and coaching’s core values of self-awareness, compassion and empathy. With increased insight into the impact they are having on others, leaders and employees become more focused on how they can achieve and maintain high performance.” Forbes Magazine (Aug 2020)

Workshops can be half day or full day and cover listening skills, asking great questions and creating a thinking space. I offer a reduced rate for schools and non-profits. Contact me to discuss what you want to achieve.

  • Albert Einstein said “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”

Whether it’s re-arranging the chairs, going into a different room, or getting away somewhere lovely for a retreat session, our brains work differently when we’re not doing what we always do.

Taking your team out of their usual environment enables them to connect with each other in a fresh way, get creative, have their best ideas, get inspired around a common vision and strategically plan next steps. When they return to the usual routine, they’ll be different – ready to take your organisation onto its next steps.

Whether you’re looking for space for your team to relax and get to know each other better; to think about vision, strategy or managing a change; or get creative around a project - a team day creates the environment for a fun and imaginative time together.

“What a fantastic workshop facilitated by Liz. Through different approaches appealing to multiple learning styles, Liz led us through a time of reflection on our current work, followed by a really helpful time of dreaming big, before breaking the dreams down into long-term and medium-term goals, with 3 actions to take away that we could action straight away. The workshop was engaging, and time flew by.” Richard Evans, Bristol Chaplaincy & Chaplain to Bristol Bears Rugby Team

I work in a bespoke way to facilitate your team towards your goals for the session/day. This might include ice-breaker, team-building or wellbeing exercises, or perhaps facilitating some strategic thinking. Team Days can be half or full days and take place at your workplace or chosen ‘retreat’ space. I offer a reduced rate for schools and non-profits. Contact me to discuss what you want to achieve.

I work in a personal, bespoke way, matching my offer to the specific needs of the client. I also provide private, one-to-one coaching.

“I was at a transition in my work and life. Liz put me at ease and was incredibly patient and non-judgemental. She teased out deeper levels of thinking, enabling me to gain a better understanding of myself. The sessions have helped to build the foundations for future thinking and planning.”

Rachel, Charity Manager, Bristol

“Liz offered a spacious session to explore possibilities and look at things from new and helpful angles. I came away with real clarity on the things that are important for me going forward and some way to action those priorities. Liz is a skilled coach who brings a great energy and holding of the space.”
